Gyoka Izakaya, bar a sushi

Sushi lovers must go there , it’s a tiny place not very appealing from the outside but it sure is cozy from the inside. the food was excellent , i haven’t had salmon so fresh since i moved to montreal. they have a huge variety on their menu and their service is very attentive. I will definitely be a regular there :

My third experience at Gyoka was as amazing ! This around I had a soup-meal chicken teriyaki! Just perfect. Mme Mao, the owner, is so genuine and attentive to her clients needs. For great food in a cosy setting. This is a must ! Cheers, Ps. Loved the wine list as well. Pinot grigio ruffino, my fav !

Our second visit in about a month, wide variety of choices not only sushi, which is nice to mix it up a bit.

A friend and I had a very good lunch at this quite new sushi place. The service was very good. They have a lunch special. I chose the 2 sushi plate and my friend chose the tempura served in a bento box. For starters we had a miso soup and a salad Both my sushis we're very tasty. I will definitely go back. You don't go there for the décor bur the food is really great.

Went there with family. The service is very good. Environment is also good. The food quality is good, but is felt to be a bit heavy in taste. I understand that the resturant has to make some adaptations to the local residents' flavour. They have a wine list, but mediocre. If you happen to be there, I recommend you try once.
