Restaurant de la Place

Fresh and real local food, friendly managers and beautiful location. I regularly come from the centre of Geneva to eat here.

Food: from this world. Service: first class. Nice little place outside of Geneva to have real and fresh French dishes.

The restaurant does not look very welcoming, nor is it particularly charming from the inside. But our salads and pasta were good. I had the spaghetti al Pesto, who were average and my wife had the spaghetti Bolognese, which were very tasty. The service is friendly and efficient. They offer outdoor seats and are open on Sundays.

We were taken here by a Swiss friend who appreciates good food and wine. The restaurant was very busy on a Tuesday lunch time, but the waitress took great care to make sure that we understood the menu as neither my husband nor I understand...French. The choices we made were truly delicious and beautifully served. Eating here was much cheaper than in Geneva itself, but the quality was excellent.

A really enjoyable meal, excellent service, definitely give this place a try, you'll be very happy! The fixed menus were such good value and each course was so tasty.
