Impasta - Saint Julian's

Came here randomly before checking the other reviews. Now I can only agree with the others. for vegetarian the place is quite good, I think the i pasta looks great and the menu is well marked. there are many vegan sauces to choose, but only a vegan pasta that is dry whole grain fabric that is simply not delicious and none of the sauces could save that. total waste of money!

*no vegan options really* they had a whole vegan menu, but that was just for the pasta sauces. I could not have any of the pasta itself, as it was made with ice

Eating was not good. I had brocolini pasta and there was no soaking and it doesn't look good.

We came here a few years ago before we decided to become vegan and like it. Since then we have returned and we are disappointed. most of the pasta selection was a basis. we had both the pistachio sauce that was bland, unpleasant and underseasonal. the employees had no understanding of vegan and were uninterested. the music was too loud and made the place a garish. we will not be back next time.

This is a cute and relaxed little place for a casual dinner. When we went there was one vegan pasta (made with mineral water rather than egg) and a choice of sauces we went for puttanesca (chilli, basil, olives, tomato sauce). We also had a lovely salad , bottle of red and bruschetta. All the pasta is cooked fresh I don’t like al dente so they cooked mine longer for me.
