El Maguey - Saint Joseph

Ask for lemon didn't ever get ask if came with sour cream put on side he don't like sour cream instead brought a dish out thought it was on the side but got bill they added $1.50 with us always in a hurry trying to get a to go box left then later had to ask for water a to go cup then left had to get attention to get a to go sweet tea never offer refill for water or tea or chips or extra salsa not friendly as could be the tip is do a better job

I mean, I guess when you live close to Mexico you appreciate the food a lot more. It was ok. Just not anywhere near as good as Mexican food at home. But the atmosphere was nice and service is quick. I would maybe try something different next time.

Food was great but I'm not sure if my server was have a bad day. He was being very short with me and wouldn't look at me and Avoid talking to me or coming by my table as much as possible. Again the food was amazing just ordering to go next time Also there is a 3% card charge.

Food is very typical Mexican. Good not incredible Mexican not like some. Very large lunch portions. Mixed hot salsa with mild for the right pop. Enchilada sauce was a sweet red. Poblano was a little bland as was the Taco meat. Fajitas were seasoned well and a ton of them! Margarita was average. Would return for sure. Good service!
