Bidra med feedbackI ordered a 12-inch pizza, small salad, and a chocolate milk for delivery to my hotel. Despite being told it would be a short wait, the food took over 90 minutes to arrive. The delivery fee was almost as expensive as my entire order. The salad was wilted, greasy, and overly salty. The pizza did not resemble what I ordered, as it was soggy, cold, and excessively salty. The crust was undercooked and had a strange off-putting flavor. When I called to inquire about the delay, I was met with rudeness and indifference. The excuse given for the delay was that it was a busy Friday night, and they didn't inform customers of wait times unless specifically asked. Additionally, the delivery did not include any utensils, plates, or napkins, leaving me without a fork for the salad or napkins for the pizza. When the delivery person asked if I had spoken to a specific employee when placing the order, he dismissed her as "new and inexperienced". Despite the restaurant's high ratings on travel sites, I will not be ordering from them again. The lackluster food, poor service, and overall experience were unacceptable. Instead of supporting a local business, I was left disappointed and frustrated. Skip Big Daddys in Saint John NB and try somewhere else.
Of this place regularly and once in a while lacked the quality, but I did not complain because I believe that I am supporting small businesses, especially in these attempts times. That said, the last three times I ordered the blows were a mess and a lack... and sloppy compared to the previous orders. I have taken this discreetly to her attention and was very polite as I raised my concern, as I would like to order them again. However, they did not react for weeks, so I sent another message and asked if this was their contact email and they simply replied that it was without comments on my previous message to them. It does not send good news to a loyal customer who lives in the city when a message is perceived as ignored, especially considering how I was patient and not complaining until it happened a third time. I wish I had a photo of the pizza before that was done well, but I only have photos of the last order. I have not ordered from this place since this last order as much as I enjoyed years of order from them overall. This is the meaning of customer service. Sometimes I have ordered through my partner or friends and that is not a unique customer. I order 1 to 2 times a week for departure. Once a week I ordered from Big Daddys at $25 average, which works on $1300 a year and $13000 over ten years! I came back to try Romano's pizza. My point is that I will order one way or another, but if you have the advantage (as a business) of returning customers when a problem is pointed out, you should probably just make it right for the customer and let them continue to support your business. Modified from 2 to 1 STAR, this is suspicious due to all 5 star ratings without comments, probably friends / family, workers, etc. So help to balance the true star rating I selected 1 . I think 2 or 3 stars is the reality here, definitely not 4. But I wish you all the best, and it is never too late to correct your business image. Cheers.
Big Daddys is one of the first stations for a meal when we are back East (we live in Alberta) and never disappointed. If you want a great Pita Donair at a good price, Big Daddy is your place. Eating in just has a... dome of tables, but they seem to take a big deal.
Great wings, good garlic bread, decent pizza. Wings were good sized, saucy as we asked. I think the wings were the best part. The pizza was good, the sauce is sweet* As I ate, almost too sweet for me, as I continued eating. Kids all...loved it! IT was fresh, hot and we demolished the wings! I appreciated that they suggested a different order that saved some money and got us more food too.
I have always had good pizza from this place. They have the best donair pizza by far. It has always been hot and the prices are good.
