The waitress at this restaurant does not wear a hair net or hat, and her long hair is frequently found in the plates. The cups are dirty and the overall setting is not up to par. Additionally, she seems to favor chatting with male customers and neglects serving your table.
I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The food was good, the atmosphere was friendly, and there were a variety of items on the menu. They also offer breakfast all day. I will definitely be returning to this place.
My opinion of this restaurant has changed over time. I used to go there for breakfast about 6 times a week, but now I only go once a month. The reasons for this change are quite simple. While the restaurant still offers good value for the money, there are small things that have made me stay away. I always ask for eggs to be cooked over so the whites are not runny, but they always come out with runny whites. If I send them back, they are cooked more to my liking, but I shouldn't have to do this every time. Last Sunday, the waitress noticed something inside my coffee mug, stuck her fingers in to remove it, then decided to bring me a new mug. I appreciate the gesture, but it was off-putting to see her fingers in the mug. This morning was the last straw for me. The restaurant makes their own mini-containers of peanut butter but the one I received was half-used, had jam inside, and had been re-capped by a previous customer. It seems the waitresses reuse extras like jam or peanut butter from dirty plates. This completely turned me off. Despite the good coffee and welcoming atmosphere for crossword puzzles, these incidents have made me hesitant to return.
