L'artisan Glacier

Been coming back here year after year (for the past 8 years) to this delightful little ice cream establishment whilst holidaying in France. The ice cream is all made on site with a wide selection of flavours, all of which are delicious, particularly Caramel Beurre Sale! It is by far the best ice cream parlour in this area by a country mile and well worth a visit. Grab a cone or tub and sit by the river watching the boats...you won't be disappointed.

On a hot day I needed something cool, and could have spent half an hour deciding which ones to choose. In the end I opted for cassis and lemon sorbets delicious! I wish we had been passing more often to try more of these delightful flavours.

If going anywhere for ice cream in St Gilles you simply must stop here. The selection of ice creams available are unbelievable, they need to do a tasting menu or you would need to go every night for 2 months to try all your favourites. I learnt from a previous visit to only order 1 boule cone, 3 scoops would feed a family of four. Cherry cheesecake had full cherries and tasted amazing, think of a flavour and they will have it. €2.50 for 1 massive scoop and a cone, from memory €3.50 gets you 3.

Delicious ice cream very difficult to find so good personnel pleasant for ice lovers it is the place to stop there. Let's go back.
