Skied valmorel St Francois the last 2 years. Discovered this restaurant the first year (for Valentine's day) and returned again this year. Good quality and value for a leisurely lunch. Lovely terrace with tremendous view if the sun is out, otherwise indoors nice and cosy without being over fancy. Plat du jour is generally Boeuf Bourguignon. Add a good glass of house red and a pud and the day is sorted.

We had a lunch inside at a quite moment in the morning. It is a beautiful place with great view. The pancake XXL was superb. The hamburger as well. Very good quality for a comparable price as down town.

Very (VERY) slow service 30 minutes to take food order and almost 30 more for food to appear, and when it appeared the food was at best lukewarm. A shame because the location is good, the boss friendly (as is the St Bernard), but the staff are not and the food did not match up to the location,

Amazing welcome package arranged by the lovely owners couple. You call them from the sky station at 1650 mt elevation...in 5 mins they come to pick you up with a 4x4 and after 5 mins of climb (fun! , you reach a beautiful chalet with an amazing terrace and view. The welcome is very warm, great coloured and authentic food. You could spend hours and hours in this place ... and they have one of the best espresso of the area! Not negligible for Italians in France! Highly recommended, especially with kids. The owner is really passionate at entertaining them and they can play safely in a dedicated area equipped with a trampoline and a swing. Love it!

Very happy with our stay in summer 2016 ns returned this year, the welcome is always warm but we still feel that the owners are overwhelmed as soon as there is a world and the menus menus have changed, specialties as well. prices have increased and menu formulas are less interesting. ns preferred season 1. As to the proposed additional activities, it is also felt that the owners are somewhat overwhelmed by their success. The goat is more than 30 minutes' walk and it's not as easy as announced. The cheese does, it's not quite that either, you pour with a ladle in a pot. And the next day you get a little cheese by adult and not by person who participates. I'm sorry about the film broadcast, but we found it not suitable for a young audience. On this the shed of the sun presents a very beautiful setting, and it is best to eat on the terrace. trempolines are at the disposal of children.
