Bidra med feedbackWe were in a hurry and our hostess. we have two choices, of which we could only take one, the jambon cui. the buffet was rich, among which cheese and dessert. ate and away.
Our friends, stephen and jayne, brought us to this restaurant when we visited them in the mai. we had a wonderful evening and the meal this year was simply the best value for money in france. as une entrée, you can choose from the menu or get yourself a full range of services and an excellent buffet. my plate was a court of ducks that I enjoyed very much. but the best was the selection of the cheese just wonderful. I only have space for one dessert, but somehow I have managed it! Many thanks, stephen, for sharing this great small restaurant (and for the pineaux).
Simple restaurant, without chichi, with a point of honour to work fresh products. because of the home, a great welcome. Brief a good address. quantities in the plate are good, and a point of honor is put on the presentation of all dishes in the plate. easy access and convenient parking.
We dine in this restaurant on a holiday so with a menu a little more expensive than the menu of the day of the week. The dishes that were served were very good. The staff is friendly and efficient. The room is pleasant and well decorated. Anyway if you pass this way we recommend this restaurant.
- arrival (12h15): menus and maps put water in your mouth in front of the restaurant-reception: you are asked to choose between 5 dishes of the day and the map while you are standing in the entrance-!. our choice: 4 à la carte formulas. you will then take you to a beautiful room of ice (10°C) in the back (at our departure 2h later, the stove warmed the room at 14°C).- ordering (12h30): there is no available dishes on the map because there is a sick cook, and we have more household products (smokered salmon)-. choice of 4 admissions and 4 meals of the menu of the menu of the day 7 eight on the plate, no rillettes. When I report it to the waiter, he answers: "There are more rillettes, that's why there are 1 8th in more-" dishes without any flavor and without any interest even the specialties (e.g. mal cuites duck without flavor)- 4 coffees and 1 glass of white alcohol. waiter response: "we have white wine." Finally we are served 1 pear.2nd ordered glass (price): "it's not sure what's left of it"...Bright, if you like the good traditional Charente cuisine, especially avoid this restaurant. It's been a long time since I was looking forward to eating there. I'd never stop there again.
