Bidra med feedbackWe were booked into this restaurant by our host. And what a magnificent evening we have had. Three staff, Rashid appearing to be a key player, ran the floor of over 60 clients like clock work. Unbelievable service. Unbelievable food and unbelievable ambience. Honestly having reviewed many many restaurants I have to say that this place stands out for its impeccable standards across every aspect If you like quality in every respect try this place I was bowled over. Really I was. Steaks were absolutely 1st class and the starters of marrow bone with garlic and eggs with truffle. To die for.
N.1 of Saint Dizier? Then this town is nothing for foodies... ; Typical French locals' restaurant, not very tidy and very simple in style. No surprises on the menu, prices are affordable. We had the menu of 34 euro: 3 dishes that couldn't go wrong. Foie gras opener was OK. Main course was tournedos with mushrooms and egg/potato mix: visually unattractive, under seasoned, luckily the meat was okay and cuisson was spot on. Desert is à la carte: pana cotta with abundance of forest fruit, yum! Illy coffees were okay. We took a 44 euro Chateauneuf du Pape, young (2012 but came alive in gentle strength beautifully after half an hour. Not the best of dinners, but given the fair ish price not bad either. Wouldn't recommend but wouldn't nót recommend either. Would not do again myself, though.
The food was not according to the expectations I had before my visit. The meat was **** and I ordered medium well done, no taste and the vegetables were cold.
Never disappointed, nickel service and very well eat. You can close your eyes.
Excellent restaurant. A good cuisine on the theme of grilled cheese. Beautiful atmosphere, quick and discreet service)
