Bidra med feedbackDanny should be in charge of training new servers. Period. If that cant be arranged or cant be seen by management, than Danny is wasting his time here. He is a bright young kid with tremendous potential in any service facing role. Tonight, Danny brought a GENUINE approach to the experience and something tells me he stands behind a consistent delivery. I even overheard him apologize to a table nearby about their last experience... it defined sincerity. Danny, if you're reading this, keep it up. Hospitality will be a welcoming industry for you.
We went for a quick lunch and while it was crazy crowded, they seated us quickly! The server was sweet and VERY attentive without being intrusive. Our steaks and prime rib were cooked to perfection and we didn't really have to wait long either. The fried pickles were wonderful and not the least bit soggy like they can be at other places. We had a lovely time, the place was clean and food was great. Will be back for sure!
Texas Roadhouse was very crowded we waited over an hour for a table for 2. The host did not guess the amount of time it would take to be seated correctly, it was much longer. Our server was excellent and our food was good. I told the server I didn't expect it to be so crowded and she said it was $2 off steak night. I recommend trying to go on a night that doesn't have $2 off steak. They have gotten rid of the waiting room and now have people wait outside or in their vehicles. The waiting area now has a window that opens to the outside of the building for to-go orders. We had not been to Texas Roadhouse since the pandemic started and did not know where we needed to be. There is a guard inside that orders you around kind of grumpy like, we wouldn't need to be ordered around if we knew what we were supposed to be doing. He wasn't friendly, he was probably not happy that we weren't standing in the right place, but we have no way to know where we need to be until someone tells us. I like that there are now no smoking signs outside the front door. The front doors fill up with people, so it's worrisome going through them, hold your breath, I guess.
It was delicious! 1st time going and the food and service was good!
