For an arrival without reservation, my colleague and I were very well received. Coming to hike in Auvergne we stayed one night in this campsite but the evening was not without mishaps. Indeed, having misunderstood the instructions of the owner, we ventured in a (converted) truck to the grass pitches, which were obviously greasy after 2 weeks of storm. Fatally, impossible to get out of it... Antoine (the son of the owner of the place) kindly came to help us get out of the mud with his tractor. After this incident we were very well received in the bar (not without some well-deserved mockery from the locals) in a warm atmosphere. We highly recommend this campsite and if we come back to the area we will definitely go!
