Bidra med feedbackThe value for money is incredible in this restaurant, staff is extremely nice. Don’t forget to take the “gratin dauphinois” there, it’s one of the best I’ve ever tasted !
Located at the foot of the Col de Marcieu ski slopes the Renardiere has the big advantage of catching the sun even in the middle of winter despite the massive and impressive east wall of the Chartreuse. The dining room had been decorated in a "mountain" style and there is a little "salon" to have coffee, or something stronger, after your meal.The menu we had today was fairly limited but covers most needs: salads, tarti/croziflette/meat dishes. When we've come in the past I remember some game dishes also offered. So obviously the menu changes. I only mention this as some people like huge ranges of food and I would want them to be dissapointed.The ski area is great if you have kids learning or want to do a mix of activities: ski, snowshoe, cross country (a real jewel is the Herse cross country ski trail to St Hilaire) and of course the excellent sledging area. Over the last few years they've always had snow for kids to ski on but it is not Val d'Isere!Service is really pleasant and polite.
