Bidra med feedbackWe visit St. Augustine often and always stop by Sangrias. We even spent New Year's Eve of 2014 there. Good live musuc. Sit on the balcony and watch the world go by. The tapas are very tasty. The sangria is really good, too. Had one of the best cheese plates ever at Sangrias. Not a place for a meal, but a place to take a break, relax, have a few drinks, a bite to eat, and enjoy yourself.
We ate here a year ago when we were in town for a meeting and rushed back as soon as we were here again! Both times, great live music, sitting on the terrace overlooking st george and yummy tapas...everything we ate was good!
This is a nice treat for an afternoon break. We sat on the balcony looking out at St George street drinking our beer. It kind of reminded me of New Orleans Bourbon St. Very relaxing and the guitar play and singer was very good. We will visit it again.
Great sangria and awesome spot. I have been going to this place for other three years. I don't order the food bc it is way over priced.
Definitely try the sangrias! I've visited a few times and the Ancient City Classico (I believe that's the name) is quite good. It's lovely to sit outside on the balcony and people-watch when the weather is nice. However, on my last visit, I decided to sample the key lime pie. Unfortunately, it was drenched in an overly syrupy green goo that completely overshadowed the pie itself. I expected the $7 dessert to be large enough to share (like at Biscotti's in Jax), but it turned out to be just a small sliver! I was really disappointed to have spent money on a dessert I could have made better myself. That said, I still highly recommend the sangrias!
