Mojo Old City Bbq - Saint Augustine

I have never left a bad review on OpenTable, but I feel I need to ; The appetizer was chicken nachos and came out cold with half the cheese in clumps and half still unmelted. We would have sent it back, but by the time a waiter actually returned it had been 20 minutes and our salad was being delivered. While the app came out cold, the wedge salad Came out warm and had so much dressing the lettuce wa wilted and basically swimming in sauce.Took a few bites and pushed aside, again, no one returned to Check until the dinner was being delivered. At that time we just wanted to eat and get out of there. The brisket platter was very fatty but the pulled pork and baked beans were excellent. I would have loved to have used BBQ sauce with the pulled pork, but the assortment of sauce bottles on the table were all filthy and had congealed sauces on the tops,,, totally grossed us out. My husbands sandwich was good but messy, but now we are home and he is sick to his stomach,,, not sure if from the sandwich or warm salad or just overall meal. The waiter was attentive as he could be on a busy night but the experience was not good and we will not be back.

We had a party of 8, they accommodated us right away. The food was great and even better service by Dave!

Nice establishment to go! Was visiting for the night with a friend I and got the Ribs with Mac n cheese and mash potatoes! Very good meal.

What a treasure! The food is fantastic! A local gem! Make sure you stop here and try it! The portions are huge so come hungry!!!

Our favorite spot when visiting St Augustine. Food is great and staff is very welcoming and pleasant. Cant go wrong with a dinner from here! Delicious!
