Maple City Diner - Saint Albans

I understand being short staffed and busy I truly do. But may I offer the suggestion that someone at least acknowledge the people standing in line at the door. We waited a solid 10 minutes and no one even looked our direction. Doesn’t make you want to come back, nor did we continue to wait which we may have done if someone had just said “sorry but will be with you in a minute”.

I really wanted to like it. Unfortunately, the food was overpriced and mediocre. My country fried steak was a frozen packaged one smothered in sausage gravy, and the over medium eggs were slapped haphazardly on top with both yolks broken when they arrived at the table. Probably won't be back

My biscuits with gravy came with no gravy ot was dry never again

Food is usually good, but good luck getting ahold of them if your looking for take out. Multiple times forced to find alternative dinner location because no answer on phone
