Bidra med feedbackThis place has been around ever since I was a kid: run by the parents of the current owner it has always been great. I wanted to go there for a while but never found the right occasion. Table for 2 at the last minute: we were lucky! It is excellent: a nice menu with a good choice of antipasto, primi e secondi. We ordered tagliolini with porcini mushrooms and crespelle with vegetables then roasted veal with mushrooms and Grilled Montasio cheese, a portion of ratatouille and one of spinach. House white and water and we could not have been happier! It’s without a doubt a place to visit over and over again. Great outside seating to enjoy the cool breeze during summer, there are enough inside seats for large groups too. It’s been a pleasurable dining experience that we’ll repeat soon. Booking is recommended because it gets busy. What else can I say, if you like game, wild boar and food typical of this corner of the world, this is the place. Price is absolutely reasonable. Try it because you won’t be disappointed.
Visited dal Checco and we were met by Riccardo and the team. Hospitable, homely and excellent cuisine. Had the Tris of taglialini porcini, ravioli tartufo and gnocchi selvaggina. All superb. Secondo was a Bis of cinghiale and cervo wild meats served in red and white wine based sauces respectively. Grilled mushroom sides. Dessert was salame al cioccolato. I felt like I was eating something unique and special. Must visit again
Dal Checco in Peteano, is probably the best restaurant of its kind in eastern Friuli, the owner Riccardo with his wife and a precious Staff, welcome you with friendliness and professionality, in the characteristic atmosphere of a rustic but elegant place. The real house specialties are dishes made of meat and wild meat: deer, wild boar, roe deer; Angus and also weekly specials besides the regular menu. The pasta dishes are excellent, even following the seasonal natural products, like mushrooms boetus edilus, and other natural products not made from industrial.Large selection of red and white wines, house sweeties as final. The restaurant is open only on Friday Saturday and Sunday, both at lunch and dinner, I recommend reservations, especially for large groups, given the popularity of the place. Excellent, top reccomenmded for meat lovers.
I've known this restaurant for years and it's never disappointed me. I brought a couple of friends to eat the game. They were also enthusiastic about the kindness of the dishes, for the environment and the friendly and prepared staff. Prices in the average but sin that it is always difficult to find place.
As soon as you enter the premises you perceive a stale smell that calls a radical change. Get the beads out of the walls! sliced good cheeses, even cheeses, grilled so the roast beef was so nervous that it ended up with the dog along with the braziola. ragù pasta was good but you can not serve it as in a canteen. good wine and friendly staff. I don't think I'm coming back. sin
