Bidra med feedbackThis was a fun experience for my husband 's birthday the food was absolutely delicious. We left satisfied had a good time! I do want to make sure a few things are clear though for people looking into this:1) You 'll learn some good tips but don 't actually prepare the ingredients yourself. There 's a demonstration for each dish you get fed the ones they make. Then at the end you chose one to make and they give you all the ingredients to put it together. We did the ninja turtles/Italian food class and the dough and all ingredients were pre-prepared for us just to put together one option (either a pizza, calzone or stromboli) which you do get to take home and are pretty good in size.2) Use the discount codes!! Whenever I have looked there is always a groupon for a fifth of the price on their website, at the time we went there was also a code on the home page. Make sure to use it! I sure hope no one has paid the full advertised price since it seems they always offer the discounts. They really should just offer that price to begin with.3) Bring your own apron. They let you know ahead of the class but FYI they charge $5 to use one of their plain white ones.In all, a fun experience and well worth the discounted price that we paid. We also ended up purchasing drinks (they serve alcoholic non) and they advertise dessert which is also additional cost (but so delicious). Plus there 's a small gift shop.
I went for the Taste of New Orleans class and it was so much fun. It’s an easy class and you don’t need much experience cooking. You do learn some good tips and learn a new dish but the main point is to have a good time. There is a lot of laughter and warmth. I’m a shy person but it was easy to spark up a conversation with the people around you. The bar has some really tasty drinks and I noticed several people commenting on how good their drinks were. I got the Italian mimosa and I really liked it. The food was good and it was so much fun when we went into the kitchen and made our dishes. It was such a nice night and I can’t wait to go again. Oh, also the desserts are very impressive.
5th time back wife's birthday!Tasty, entertaining, and a great value (considering the amount of take home). Be sure to bring and apron, Tupperware, and your appetite.
If I could give them a 0 star, I would. This place is a complete rip off, I would not recommend it at all. They have 25 people in the classes, make you sit there for an hour and a half while they explain the way to make what we are making then they split you into groups of 8 and expect everyone to get a chance to cook in the tiny kitchen. The kitchen is super tiny and gross. They had us cook unauthentic paella, a simple salad and simple frittata. Unless you have never cooked before I would not recommend this class to anyone. Not to mention the chef is rude and they don 't even serve you the food you cook.
This was my second time participating in this cooking experience. The first time was years ago when it was just me and my husband. We did an Italian meal and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.This time, I went with my brother and parents. I informed the business that my parents would not be cooking but they would just have the dinner.The theme was A Taste of Morocco, and the menu was Chicken Tagine, Tabbouleh Salad, and Moroccan Lentil Soup. However, they changed the Tabbouleh Salad to Baklava.Class was supposed to start at 5:30 pm, but the very long demonstration took us well into the evening. I mention this because I was concerned that my dad's blood sugar was taking a hit. He got a bowl of the soup that helped him until we actually ate at around 8:30 pm.The food we prepared was delicious, although I thought they could have plated it a bit more neatly.
