Bidra med feedbackMy party of 4 adults had lunch here Saturday 25 March at 1:30. The hostesses were attentively friendly. Our server was a man with dark brown hair he was fabulous. The cheeky starter bread is a must here. Sooo good! My crab shrimp Louie salad was fresh had a lot of seafood on it. The crabs melted spiced pommes were also a favorite. We ate on the outdoor terrace it was clean and had a nice view of the river. The male manager at the service was wonderful. I wish I could remember his name. He helped run clean tables and food. He brought us extra spices and was very exhausting. It's nice to see employees who actually seem like their jobs. We had a great time will definitely be back.
Great meal and service. My daughters flight was delayed and staff was great about accommodating our reservation for a later time. The waiter recommended a cocktail that was outstanding and food and portions were wonderful.
Our server was very pleasant and has made excellent suggestions from the menu. She spent time with us to make recommendations and was attentive to our needs. It wasn't our first visit, but it was the best.
While our expectations were not really high because of the tourist nature of the old Sacramento area, Rio Cafe was nevertheless disappointing. A very loud table next to us did not help, but that was not the fault of the restaurant. The food was. It seemed like our food was long. A crab melt was hardly warm when it was served and does not appear in its appearance. An eggshell had to be returned because it tasted and seemed like it had long been sitting. Our waitress was good. But after returning there were no loans offered on our tab. Since the prices are calculated as $30 per person for brunch, the value was simply not for us.
Another delicious dinner at Rio City Cafe! We come here when we're in Sacramento, and we're never disappointed!
