Bidra med feedbackI had a last evening in Sacramento and wanted something different, so I walked to the Oak Park Brewery. Let 's start with the staff, they are 5 star. Great attitude, helpful without rushing. Next the beer, I only had the Red Chevette because my mom had one when I was young and I was hoping for something other than the wreck she handed down to us kids. So, I 'm not a big fan of real hoppy IPAs and this was a perfect pick. Great malt/toffee flavor. Then I had a Yard Bird sandwich, blackened chicken on a delicious hogie roll with melted cheese, bacon (and what isn 't better with bacon) and really tasty avocado crema. Even if you don 't drink beer you need to try this sandwich. Can 't wait to bring my friends on my next trip to Sacramento.
The brewery is dog and child friendly and the service is very friendly. Our party of four had a late lunch on the patio on a warm sunny February afternoon. Our drinks, beer and cider, came quickly. We all enjoyed the food. I had grilled fish tacos. My husband had the bowl of beans, three kinds of beans with ground beef and bacon. Our friends had a hot dog and a sausage sandwich . Both were served with very good, hot fries. Good place to visit and there's plenty of on street parking.
We met friends fir HH— only discounts at bar, not tables. But.... we enjoyed the pretzel beer cheese sauce. Great IPAs with different hops; robots red very tasty Sandwiches tried- pastrami, burger fried chicken. Fine.... but very average. Outdoor patio lovely plenty of space at long picnic tables
My friends and I visited oak park brewery since we recently moved near the area. They have a great selection of beers and ciders so there is something for everyone. The food is also a highlight of this brewery-my favorite was the meat and cheese board! I loved the selection of cheese along with fruit, honey, and nuts. The outside was also a great area with games and picnic benches. I have seen parties held here and friends playing ping pong enjoying the outsiders over the summer. It was a nice, relaxing evening for us and it wasn’t too busy.
Hearing that OPB has reopened, with new help, got me to go here for a Sunday brunch this date. At 1230pm we arrived, were greeted and seated promptly. The place was not busy, but not empty. There are an assortment of high tables, bar-type seats, and some lower, regular restaurant tables. We took the latter and had H2O brought pronto. Menu is limited but interesting. STandard breakfast of Eggs, with meat choices, a couple of Benedicts, and some other great choices. We three had eggs and such, and I ordered a middle of Carrot cake French Toast. Outstanding, interesting. Service was attentive, a bit loose on the details (knives and forks came after the food, We needed butter for the biscuits, coffee, then cream came. These are all small issues that can be tightened up quickly. The menu harkens to Iron Horse Tavern for breakfast, just not as deep. Burgers and such on the main menu. On street parking. I'm a teetotalor, so no beer for me. But I'll happily go back for the food.
