Gen Korean Bbq House - Sacramento

Went in for the dinner this time for $30/person.Tried the Chicken Katsu, japchae, korean pancakes and korean ribs for apps. Katsu was fresh, hot, andcrispy. It was good. Japchae had the weirdest flavor out of all the Japchae Ive tried. Wouldnt recommend. Korean pancakes was for my child but she didnt like them. Sweet, mochi like texture with filling inside. Korean ribs were really tender but wasnt that tasty.For the main dishes we tried few dishes but nothing really stood out. Short ribs only on dinner menu was stringy and chewy. So was the other dish in the pic that looks pretty but was not that good.Our server however made our night. Our kid spilled water and server was all over it. Then gave her a lollipop and that stopped her crying. Made sure we were taken care of. Very friendly.But I wont come back for dinner. $20 for lunch is very reasonable however.

It was below average. Very stingy on side dishes, dry rice sheets, and japchae is a joke.Not worth the money unless you're focused on meat only then the short ribs and beef bulgogi (almost diced tho) is ok.

The food was delicious it was easy to prepare and the service was great. The inside has a low light with some ambient light running around to make a relaxing atmosphere so u can enjoy your time.

Top quality service food was average and music was cranked way too high but all in all 100% a go to place to

Great pleace, first time going to korean bbq place so I can't compare to other places but for my first experience it was pleasant, friendly staff, really clean place, great atmosphere, and great food!
