Bidra med feedbackLove the vegan food here fast, flavorful, variety of dishes, good quantity for the price. However, I give the boba a 2 or 3 stars. We've tried several times (when they still had regular fresh taro milk tea it was the best I ever had but then they went all vegan boba and removed it) and since then all the bobas we had were pretty flavorless just some almond/oat milk with sugar is what all of them tasted like. We won't come for boba again. But the food is very good. I'm so sad about the boba being mediocre though. Oh well. Get the food.
I ordered Coconut Milk Tea with Boba, 50% sweetness. It tasted like a cup of plain milk with stale boba. No coconut flavor or tea flavor. The amount of boba at the bottom of the cup was substantially less than other places.
Finding a boba place that has milk alternatives is more common than it used to be, but finding a 100% vegan one is rare in my experience! The food is amazing too. I had spring rolls and sesame mochi (SO. GOOD. with a brown sugar milk tea. I got mine at 50% sweet, but I would up to 75% if I had it alone without a snack. The staff is friendly and they have a SUPER CUTE sticker machine with boba stickers!Definitely my favorite place to go for a walk on my lunch break!
So good! I love the boba it's all dairy free! I love it! The sesame balls are also delicious.
If you want to find the world 's best boba tea place, this is not a spot your noble foodie quest would come to a conclusion. I called ahead to ask if they do Sesame boba tea. Sesame is one of my favorite flavors, and I read their online menu and did not see a Sesame boba tea. Oh yes, definitely we have Sesame tea! said the person on the other end of the call. Their voice was both cheerful, and confident. Ok, I just wanted to make sure cause I didn 't see it in your menu of drinks I replied. Feelings of skepticism and relief, mixing inside me like the wrong bargain priced laundry detergent mingling with expensive clothes that should have gone instead to a dry cleaner. I could always tell something was off, and friends would attest I could always willingly ignore what is plainly right in front of me. I decided I would make the drive, gas prices be darned. They would close in 20 minutes. The person 's voice said it would be alright. And why wouldn 't it be alright? Sesame tea, MY favorite tea, was a liquid reassurance that all was right in the world. It would be in my grasp, and so yes, everything would be alright. The person was an Oracle. I was already planning a life for us together, filling in the bits of their personality and hobbies to suit what I needed for a most agreeable daydream based in unhealthy expectations. They would be in charge of all my foodie planning, setting me up to meet influential talk show hosts who focused on the kinds of foods I loved to eat. I could see it all clearly. handing to me, a cup of Sesame tea, why that was practically an interview+being hired for all the right reasons. Who wouldn 't want an Oracle by their side? A Sesame boba tea Oracle. Don 't see those everyday. They turned out to be not the Oracle that I hoped for. There was no Sesame tea, and they claimed to believe that I was asking about food. Reassuring (to themself) they smiled as they said this, despite saying we have Sesame TEA when I called only moments earlier. I could smell the smoke of bridges burning, the fallout of our storybook made for lifetime tv food union coming apart at the paper plate seams. Good thing all my daydream fantasies come with prenuptial agreements. I opted for Taro root, and the flavor was more pop culture magic unicorn than Purple Yams . Is there a bright side? The interior was spotlessly clean, and now that I had this experience, you will know what to expect. No daydreams or Oracles needed.
