Long John Silver's - S St, Mount Vernon

Expensive but where isn't anymore. Comfort food when you crave it!

The inside has just been redone very fresh looking.The food was good but the portions were small. I ordered the fish taco meal, it came with 1 fish taco,1 side and a small drink for over $11 pretty pricy.Maybe I need to going on Sunday for all you can eat fish for $14.

02/19/2024We had not had Long John Silver's for several years. Happened to be in Mt. Vernon and saw that theirs was still open. The establishment looks to be recently updated, very clean. The staff was very friendly and we received our order quickly. Everything was hot, nice and crispy. The hush puppies were perfect, light crispiness on the outside, tender on the inside. Definitely look forward to returning

This was the best LJS I have been to in a very long time. It looked like a new place, very clean and nicely decorated. The food was very good and the service was great too. Long John Silvers has been going downhill so bad that we have quit eating in them. We decided to drive by and see what it looked like before stopping to eat. I am glad we did. At least there is one good LJS left in the USA. We will definitely return!!
