Humphreys - S San Diego

Have only eaten here as part of concert ticket packages but have four years of experience to rate them on. I can say my ratings would be the same as four years ago. They're consistently above average. We always enjoy our meal and drinks with friendlyservice, but not feeling worth the fifth star.

Food and cocktails were great. The venue is beautiful with huge windows overlooking the docks and up into the point Loma hills. Old school elegance with big white overstuffed chairs to dine on. The steak was tender and perfectly cooked.

View was nice, food was unfortunately not seasoned. Ordered eggs Benedict. The poached egg was way over cooked, almost like a boiled egg. The hasbrowns needed salt, actually everything needed salt.

Humphrey's is a fashionable, fine dining restaurant in a very good area along San Diego Bay. The restaurant appears well appointed, the staff are attentive and friendly, and the menu is diverse and full of fresh seafood choices. We enjoyed bothappetizers and main courses ranging from lobster risotto and pork chops to crab cakes and a beautiful scallop appetizer. Weenjoyed our time here and plan to return.
