The tobiko is amazing!! Yellow has a lemon taste. Green has a spicy/wasabi taste. Very very fresh!! Better than most restaurants. Would order again!! Size and taste is excellent!!

This is a hidden seafood market gem. I think it is one of the best seafood markets in San Diego because of the high quality and freshness of the seafood. I LOVE to buy the live crabs and do a cajun crab boil! They always have random but delicious spices and sauces that compliment the fresh fish, shrimp, scallops, more fish. They also have useful tools like oyster shuckers, claw crackers and other useful seafood tools. They also do discounts on bulk orders. The staff is super friendly. Great place to buy fresh seafood near Old Town. The staff is very helpful and will help you choose your fish. As you 'll find out in the other reviews, they also seem to be famous for their fresh Uni (raw sea urchin). I had never tried Uni before but gave it a chance and loved it.

This is the best seafood store in San Diego. You can always get the freshest seafood here. In other stores, I've sometimes gotten home to find the fish was a little funky, or there are a few bad mussels, etc. I've never had problems with anything I've purchased here.The staff is super-helpful, and can answer any questions about preparation, cut pieces how you want it, etc.This is the only place I buy seafood.

Hello from Michigan. I wanted to do a special gift for my family. Was searching around sources and found this was recommended on Reddit. Everyone loved the sushi grade products. My brother said it was the best uni he’s had! And it was frozen when shipped! Definitely recommend
