Bidra med feedbackA bit costly for a bowl, but it was worth it due to the ingredients; I was surprised that the matcha base actually tasted like a blend of matcha soft serve and paste. The fruit options, strawberries, bananas, and blueberries and the fact that you can have all, was nice too.
It is waaay overpriced IMHO. I tried the lazy blue and it didnt taste natural like other local acai bowl shops around the area. Maybe because the person who helped me was new? I might give it a second try maybe with a coupon but not at those prices.
The bowls are worth the price! You can get unlimited bases toppings filling it to the top. The staff is also really helpful. Highly recommend!
Definitely my favorite place on campus. Appreciate that you get to pick your own stuff and the line always moves fast. It's pricey but compared to other acai places in SD it's not bad especially for how much you get.
I'm relatively new to the açaí bowl scene, but I was nonetheless excited to see Blue Bowl open a spot at UCSD. It's located at Sixth College and I believe it was chosen as a vendor because the owners are UCSD alum!I visited midday on a weekday and found the place to be pretty empty, so I was helped right away. The staff is really patient and gave me plenty of time to make my choices. I went for the açaí base and the chia seed pudding with all of the fruit options. This particular combination went really well together and it's great seeing them add new options every now and then. Definitely stop by this place if you ever find yourself on campus!
