The Terrace The Rye Golf Club

My wife and I went for dinner on the patio and we were not disappointed. Aside from this beautiful view that we enjoyed while eating, we had excellent food and outstanding service. The fried calamari was cooked perfectly and came out wonderfully crispy. My wife got the skirt steak and I got the steak sandwich, and we were both very satisfied with our meals. We were even treated to fireworks over the top of the trees from Rye Playland when it got dark. We will definitely be going back.

The view on the terrace is worth it all. Nicest people ever work there. The food is good but not quite as good as the view and the service. Top notch bar tender.

Don't bother going...food and service the worst by far. Christmas music playing overhead in May, waiter that didn't know the first thing about food. Tomato bruschetta served dry with out tomato or ANYTHING...all we got were apologies...steak raw...salad...lettuce and 2 cherry tomatoes...the whole experience was a terrible from the beginning to end...don't waste your time or money!!!

Just a cheeseburger for lunch. Well presented and properly cooked. New management is stepping up on service. The terrace is great on a nice day or evening. I no longer feel that I am dining at Fawlty Towers.

Unfortunately, despite our reservation on OpenTable, the restaurant was closed. The customer service was terrible.
