Common Roots Cafe - Rye

All sauces are vegan (mayo, sriracha, etc) and almost everything on the menu can be made vegan. Also vegan baked goods and a small selection of snacks and drinks in a “general shop” type area.

I love Common Roots. The food is delicious and the staff is incredible. I wish I could give 5 stars. Do a favor and stop!

We loved the vegan breakfast Burritos we ordered! The staff is wonderful about cooking vegan/ herbal foods separated from other non vegan foods. The smoothies are so delicious and the perfect pick-me-up for the beach! Updated by previous review on 2022-07-01

Excellent. Every single menu item can be veganized.

Most items can be made vegan and in fact that’s how they are meant to be made. Check out the menu. Breakfast and lunch items served all day. Take a chance if you are near Portsmouth and make the journey to Rye. It is worth it! I had a burrito and it was awesome. He makes his own “egg filling”. Lots of vegan baked goods. Definitely will be back if we are nearby! Should be five stars but app won’t let you choose it if not 100% vegan. This is more vegan than not! Five stars in my book.
