Bidra med feedbackPre booked for Christmas shopping dinner beginning of December. Actual pub part usually full of locals and really busy. Once you have someones attention you are promptly seated and it is table service from then on. Something on the menu for everyone but would recommend the Fish Stew. Serving Staff friendly, efficient and kept the drinks coming. Get there early for quieter tables you will be given a choice !
All our food and drink was delicious. The service was amazing too. Only didn’t give 5 stars as was quite expensive for what it was. 2 x burger and chips and 4 drinks was nearly £80
The pub is in a amazing area of town.the pub is very nice in size .but overpriced for what we paid for the fish was ok but the chicken wings was to spicy. Bar staff amazing.
So very disappointing. Hadn’t been here for several months and took a friend for lunch as it used to be pretty good. We ordered crab rolls in tempura which turned out to be king prawns in batter accompanied by bottled soy sauce. The bread (at£2.50) was a white sliced loaf from a local shop or bakery and the wine was overpriced. Whilst the service was efficient and friendly, the rip off London prices for below average bistro food were disappointing. 18 months ago this was one of my favourite dots that showed promise of becoming a regional contender. Now it’s an overpriced tourist trap with below average food. Very disappointing.
Very expensive and the food quality doesn't match the price. There are better places to eat with better value for money
