The White Hart Inn - Ryde

I and my family came to dinner, the staff and the relaxed atmosphere could not have been better and the eating was excellent, felt not even classed anyway, will be back

I visited the White Hart on Wednesday 6th September as a visitor to the Island we had been recommended to go here on arrival we were asked if we'd booked not realising how popular it was we hadn't but the lovely barman John said if waited 15 mins he was sure he could find us a table we had a drink while waiting and 20 mins later were sitting at a table the service we received was fantastic the staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was superb well done to everyone who works there you deserve much more praise you get 6 stars from me.

Very friendly and efficient staff. Big specials board. Everything is cooked fresh. So good that you have to book in advance. Their lobster bisque is fantastic.

Just been for a last minute quick dinner en route to the ferry home. I called when we were about 7 minutes away just to see if they could seat us and they could as we'd already been turned away from somewhere else. We were greeted at the door by name and the food was outstanding! I had the beef bourguignon from the specials board and my partner had the macaroni cheese. He said it was the best he's ever had and my meal was delicious. Unfortunately we didn't have time for dessert, as we were really pushed for time, but wish we did. I've already recommended to my parents who regularly come over to the Island. Thanks very much!

Lovely cosy surroundings. Amazing selection of food, all served up by very friendly and attentive owners and staff. Can't fault it.
