Portico Grill - Ruston

The first time we went to portico in ruston before three weeks, everything was amazing. the steaks were great and the service was wonderful. unfortunately we went back to portico in ruston today at 18 o'clock. we had 5 people at our party. three ordered ribeye, one had reddish and one had a sirloin. instead of a ribeye, a sirloin was brought out so that it had to go back. when it came out again, they did not replace the sides, so they were cold. my ribeye was fat and gristle, and so loaded with red pfeffer that it was not edible, so I sent it back and got a filet. the act was great. I enjoyed my salad while I waited for a new steak as it was brought out at the same time. each plate was removed for a time. the sirloin was medium rare when it was ordered as medium, so that also went back. when the sirloin came back, the sides were not replaced, so they were cold. the new sirloin that was brought out was rare, so you went back. number threesirloin was exactly the same steak as before, just cooked longer (the manager told us that they cook a new steak, that was not true), but it was so overhauled as shoe leather. the place was at most 25 full. we had the manager over 3 separate times. the last time the manager came, we told her that the sirloin had to be taken out of the bill because it was not possible. we were immediately told that the kitchen had to cut into 4 sirloins and that their policy should only take 10 of the bill. if they had cooked the sirloin for the first time, it would not have been just one. they also took a limo and a cocktail. it must be nice to know that, no matter how bad their product is, they will still be paid full price. what a great policy. and to think that we had planned to bring people to portico for the conclusion of our sohnes in mai. we will never return to portico in ruston. with this policy the management proves that they are not interested in repeating customers, only their lower line. I'll tell everyone I know I don't want to use this place. we often eat out and tap well for large service. you should be ashamed to serve this.

We reserved a private dining room for a final meal per month in advance. the room was hot, we waited for almost 2 hours for our food party of 15. most guests were from monroe or sulphur, la and chose the party on portico’s based on my recommendation.

Food was delicious!!! Service was excellent.. Fast and friendly waitress did not have to wait or ask for something. Definitely recommend this place and will be back!

Great meal and excellent service! We enjoyed the soup of the day, the Flatboy, Turkey Pesto sandwich, and Mandarin salad and splurged on the Croissant Beignet and the Bread Pudding. Glad we found this place, as we were just passing through town.

This is the place where I took my husband yesterday we enjoyed it was very good and very nice and very good hospitality and the food was very good
