Colonial Motel & Restaurant - Rustburg

I've gone to Colonial for over 40 years. Under new management (a few years ago) the decor was updated and the food is excellent! Service is also wonderful and they are all so friendly. Feel like in your family! I had the grilled salmon that was perfectly cooked and my husband had the meat he loved. You can't go wrong with Colonial!

Beef tips and rice were fantastic. I also recommend trying the fried mushrooms side . Location was clean, has a good ambience to it and offers top of the line service. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely lunch at the colonial restaurant. Is it a tractive quiet place with significant parking making it easy to pull our RV in to the parking lot with basically no one near us. I had an excellent lunch of fresh lightly fried catfish it was really tasty. It was served with a generous helping of onion rings and a small bowl of coleslaw. Joan had lightly grilled salmon wasn’t quite as lightly grilled as she liked I had really pretty grill marks in a diamond pattern on both size that she would’ve preferred to have seen omitted. The salmon itself was tasty but slightly more done than she prefers. We shared a fresh but Unimaginative bowl of salad of salad. I asked for cocktail sauce several times but it never arrived. The tartar sauce was quite tasty so it was OK.

This place is a reminder of how much someone cares about his place. I love her building, her dining room, the stands, the tables and the decor. Which beautiful paintings they have on the walls. The simple menus are fantastic. We ate breakfast here. It's the first time I saw salmon cake for breakfast. You're the best salmon cake I've ever had. Very pleasant people who serve you. What a great day.
