I was ordering a kids meal chicken stip for my daughter who I had just picked up from school who is usually hungry after school. normally I would take her home and make her an after school snack but today we had errands to run so something quick would do. When I approached the drive thru I noticed there was a handwritten sign saying they were unable to serve baskets at this time. I went on to order a 2piece kids chicken tender meal. Kara told me I was not able to order that meal. I asked her why and she rudely told me her boss said they cannot sell chicken strip baskets because they have no baskets to put them in. I explained that the kids meal is not a basket they put the tenders in the fry boxes and put them in the kids bag. she still said no that I was not able to order that. so she recommended that I order a chicken strip sandwich and regular fry on the side. I was confused so I asked how did that make any sense? if they had the fry boxes for the regular fries then how come they couldn 't make the 2 piece kids meal since that is the container they come in. she continues to belittle me and have a horrible tone with her voice so I leave... as I 'm pulling away I see a man hanging out of the back door laughing and another man approaching him from the parking lot, so I rolled down my window and asked if there was a manager I could speak to. he confirmed he was the general manager and asked what he could do. I explained the situation and told him I am a local and often dine at this restaurant (there isn 't many to choose from at the lake). He was more rude than Kara taking my order. he said he is following rules that corporate gave him and they could shut down his business if he allowed them to Sell me a kids meal. remember the sign only said 4 and 6 piece baskets. they have tenders, they have fry boxes, they have fries.. everything I needed for a kids meal. so after he rudely told me multiple times that he would not help me I tried to teach him about what it means to have good customer service and he wanted no part in that conversation. he said he 's just following orders and he is following rules. he said he 's never broken a rule in his life. I 'm sad.. I 'm hurt.. the world is already a mess and people are so unkind. but to have people act this way in your own community makes me upset. I 'm someone who is kind to almost everyone I meet and to be treated this way at a local restaurant is unexcusable. this is not the first time being talked to this way, but it is the last for me. I will not be back and neither will my family. Completely unrelated the food is no good. Never fresh. And blizzards rarely mixed all the way through.
Look elsewhere. Only one in drive thru and waited 20 minutes and no one would come to the window at 4:00 pm on a Friday after we paid. Fraud reported for charge. So bizarre.

Check your orders before you leave. Spent over 50 bucks and they didn't give me half my order. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
Don't bother ordering hot food here. Usually don't have someone who can run the grill. And don't even think about ordering a blizzard that's medium or large. Only top inch or two is actually a blizzard rest is plain ice cream. Near everytime, only reason we stop by here anymore is for kids and even then they only get plain twist cones.
