Lucky 7 Sport Bar Restaurant - Russell

Visited Lucky7 with friends that are local to the area. We had heard a lot about the place so expectations were high. We ordered deep fried zucchini, jalapeño poppers and calamari for starters - all pretty much what you would expect. For mains we had filet mignon with shrimp which was much appreciated. The hamburger steak was served with loads of onions and gravy. Chicken fajitas were nice. All portions are huge! The server seemed new and she was almost too informative, saying things like 'I have to bring you the bill or my boss will yell at me'...This used to be the the place to be on a Friday night but last Friday night our group of 5 made up half of the whole clientele.

I went to the Lucky 7 Sports Bar three times in a week while visiting Embrun. The staff are friendly, beer is cold and food is average. As we entered the bar, it's dated decor stood out. The place needs to be renovated; the balcony in a serious way. Most of the umbrellas were broken to some degree.On a positive note, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, except for one server who couldn't answer any questions about the menu, but she was still very friendly.We had the pork souvlaki and a gyro type wrap. The portions were good and quality acceptable.In summary, this is a place to stop for a friendly beer with your buddy and get served by a friendly, smiling server with an option to eat.

Been here a couple times and never had anything bad. Wings are a bit small, but portions for other items aren't bad at all. Food is always served quickly. Never been here when the place was packed though. Good cold be. Location is a bit odd, but don't let that stop you from giving them a try.

Went there last summer. It's a huge resto bar...nicely done up. Some pretty good pub food and main dishes. Staff is awesome. They are on the second level, they usually offer live entertainment and karaoke .they throw Christmas and New Years eve parties during the holiday season.

Fantastic wings and very good service.I made a mistake on a food choice and the cook corected the sause no issues here Honky Tonk is here to stay love the rustic look and theme.
