Taqueria Don Julios - Ruskin

Every table was dirty. Food all over floors. Despite appearance I took a chance. First time going here. Never again! I ordered 3 enchiladas, 2 beef 1 cheese, black beans and rice. No salad! It looked like a mushed up mess. Don’t even see the cheese enchilada! Lettuce all on the bottom. I mean it was a mess. From what I could tell meat looked partially uncooked. Absolutely disgusting! Son ordered the steak nachos, once again all mushed up in container. Will never come here again. I’ll chalk that $30 up as a loss! I threw it straight to the trash. Food not only has to taste good but has to look edible.

There was no customers . We got there 1 hr. And 20 minutes before closing. There was an uncleared table next to us and was still not cleaned up in there when we left. We had to Sk for chips and salsa. They charge for it. And salsa was just ok. The margarita took firever and the guy broughtit dripping all over and he said he messed it up and it overflowed. It was un drinkable tasted pure salt. He did bringanother one at my request he was very polite. Idk if they charged for it or not. He started to clen bathroom with door open yuk. And wheeled dirty mop water past our table!! Yuk. A few customers came in and sat and server was back in kit hen and served them after cleaning bathroom. Gross. We left abou half hour befor eclosing. So he had time to clean it still. Then starting putting up chairs also. Etc. Sorry I never post a bad review. Honestly I don't and I'm not a Karen. Lol

The corn tortillas didn't break believe it or not. I don't know who Julio is but he's magic.10/10Food: 5/5

I got a small guacamole to try and queso. Especially loved their chunky with tomatoes and onion guac. Queso, white white cheese was really good, chips and salsa all good. Best taco I’ve found so far, rice and beans bland. Huge serving of 3 enchiladas. Took home.

Great little Mexican restaurant fast and friendly service ,moderately priced and good selection of beer
