In April 2023, my family and I were visiting Rushden Lake from Kent. We decided to try this restaurant for lunch, and oh boy, what a disappointment and waste of money that was. The menu boast all the authentic Jamaican trademark cuisines, but when the food arrived, it was horrible! The food had NO flavour! The Oxtail taste like it was boil, the ribs was dry like a piece of cardboard and the rice and peas was soft. Nothing about this place reflects or represent the Jamaican cuisine. My 8 year old daughter wanted to come here after previously having a coconut drink from a pop up stand. She went for the tropical drink,the gentleman was very helpful, as soon as she tried this drink she said Wow! I give this a 10/10,best drink ever she was very impressed and can 't wait to come back. Details posted for Rushden is for a different branch. There was a poor choice of food 3 or 4 mains starter The chicken burger prawns would not be out of place in Iceland frozen food. The food we where given wouldn’t need a chef to cook.
