Bidra med feedbackYeah, maybe the shady bar I've ever been. I was in town for work and decided to check it. When I went in, I had to adjust my eyes to how dark it was inside (yes, I had to adjust my eyes from the darkness outside to the still darker interior). It seemed like they had only necessary lights. Maybe they get energy, but the feeling that I got was that it was just hiding what could possibly be hidden in the corners. The entire bar is definitely tied to Mexican roots I like, but since my Spanish sucks, I found things a bit unpleasant. For example, when the bartender approached me to find out what I wanted to drink, I was half trying to find what beers they serve and half trying to translate what she said. I've inaugurated my energy to see the unlitted beer cooler and calm down on the most recognizable label. Bud Light. When I drank my beer, I had some time to check everything, and it was definitely a dive bar. The TV played a novel. There was a small stage with a few instruments, but no band. There is a tiny stage in the center of the place with a pole in the middle of it. When I joined, I was somehow slaughtered from the mood of a few groups of regular, the appearance of bartenders and the overall involuntary feelings. This is a local rule. All women who came together at a certain point went behind the bar to tend, so it is not very clear who works there. The night I left, it seemed like a female. I was wondering if I didn't stay open enough when I entered a Sheriff's deputy. All the others seemed to ignore him when he turned around the place, examined the dark space in the back and all the dark corners. Apparently this is a normal enough that the regulars do not even notice his presence. I then decided that I did not enjoy the experience enough to hang around and see what other things have lured in the dark.
Oh, man, what do I say? I love diving bars. I almost always have a good time when I go to one. However, I went with a few friends to La Alcachofa because they wanted to watch a boxing fight, and no other place in the city showed it. We come to the club, and each of us is annoyed by their security officer who apparently did not believe we were over 21. (We are all in our midst of the twenties. He finally lets us in, and wow it's dizzy. In fact, diving does not even begin to describe it. This bar is more of a monument to the workers burdens: sports, cheap schnapps, and very special ladies . The bartenders were all very nice, but honestly it was hard to distinguish between them and the special ladies who roamed around have fascinating conversations with the men who were regularly at the bar. It also seemed to be a shady back room where who knows what was going on. After the fight, a local group began to play Banda that, if you like this style of music, was probably quite good. I'm honestly not sure what to do about the evaluation for this place. I would give him a 1 for quality, because of its extreme level of shame, but a 5 for its sheer amazement. So I give him a solid 3: the middle class between the two. I feel as much more to say, but I will take this for a later review after further occasions in La Alcachofa atmosphere.
