Pepe's - Round Rock

We had such a great experience here. The owner was super friendly since it was our first time coming in. He was even nice enough to bring our food to top notch where we had ax throwing reservations. Not only was the staff great, but so was the food! Definitely will probably come back again!

We went for their desserts and had a banana split, yummy. As we sat talking, the owner came out and introduced himself. He said he wanted to make us an entree on the house. He made some authentic chicken tacos for us. Authentic homemade taco shells; they were delicious. It was super nice because it was our 19th anniversary and we’d just had a disappointing meal. Great place, nice people, and yummy authentic food. You will enjoy it!

I loved the carnitas and the elote! The limonada is made perfectly, not too sweet and just the right amount of water, sugar and lime. Two friendly ladies working hard and making amazing food. Loved it here!

This place has really good fresas con crema, I give that 5 stars. I also really enjoyed the mangonada, it was amazing. However, their corn was not the greatest, to start off they use yellow corn and trechas or tajin for the chile. Made the corn very sour. Maybe if they use white corn and the real mexican corn chile it would be good. Im from the RGV, Im used to the real stuff but this place comes close.

The food is good and the drinks and deserts are awesome but the place is not that clean. Tables are always dirty and so is the floor.
