Upon arrival to the hotel late Monday, July 25th, 2023, I was checked in to the hotel by an attendant (was with his bag pack as he just came to work, not shaved and looked very unwelcoming) He checked me in to room number 407.The room was filthy, dated, with an odor of cigarettes, stains on the carpet, sofa and more, I was SHOCKED!!!!I went downstairs and asked for a new room, the guy at the front desk argued me that this is a clean room and there is nothing he can do about it.After a lengthy conversation, yes. I was very frustrated and as he aggravated me a lot. He gave me a better room 337, a bit better, but still has smell of mold, dated, carpets were disgusting! Grave concern for bad bugs.In the morning, the manager contacted me tell me I was yelling at his staff, which I have not! I was direct, disgusted and annoyed by the quality of the rooms. To be very clear, I never, ever yelled, I was annoyed, tired, disgusted and frustrated.The manager threatens to kick me out of the hotel! Yes, kick out not only a Diamond Elite member but a customer who had grave concerns of the quality and cleanliness of the rooms because his staff could not handle the criticism. Who would threat a guest like this? Yet alone one of your up most and loyal members.When thinking about it the manager poorly managed the problem; not only he threatened to evict me from the hotel as a solution he verbally attacked me and the fact I raised concerns about the hotel quality.The rooms and the hotel are way below the normal IHG standards, the staff was rude, and the entire experience was VERY bad.I demand a complete refund and significant compensation for this experience . In addition, I demand a written apology from the hotel owner.The entire staff of this hotel should be fired.I am extremely, extremely disappointed.
A few weeks ago I stayed at a Holiday Inn in RoundRock Texas! It was absolutely disgusting. The hotel was filthy and there were lice ROACHES!!! The breakfast was awful and cold. I saw an Oreo cookie on the floor in plain sight of the front desk All Day! Not one employee even tried to pick it up or clean. This was the grossest hotel I have ever stayed in!Rooms: Disgusting! Roaches live and dead!
This hotel has a great location, the rooms and all of the facilities are icredibly clean and well maintained. The only downfall is a lack luster breakfast. Not much better than continental.Rooms: 5/5
Overall the price was good and rooms were nice. However I’m pretty disappointed in the customer service. My daughter left her pillow in our room and we didn’t realize it until we were 5 hours away. This pillow is her security blanket. Yes i understand it is my fault it was left behind but the way you all handled the situation was horrible. I had to call almost every day to see if you had the pillow. No one could give me a yes or a no. I finally spoke to some lady. She told me it was found and that she’d email me the link. Well i waited. She never sent it. I called again and of course she lost my phone number and email i provided. So i waited again and never heard from her. I called Thursday and a guy told me to call back at 10 am Friday. So i did. She answered with a sigh like i was bothering her. Then asked me for my number again. This time her story switched and now there is no pillow. Ridiculous. Either you don’t clean your rooms or someone threw it away and took the headphones and blanket that were inside of it. Either way i stay at your hotel a lot especially the one in my hometown but this was horrible. You all should care about your customers and if you don’t have what is missing just be honest. I wasted my time calling only to get an attitude from your employees. I wish i remembered her name but this employee had Wednesday/Thursday off. Shouldn’t be too hard to find
