Les Brochettes en Folie's - Rouen

Somewhat craving for some spicy food we came across this place and weren’t disappointed. Had some gyoza to start with some deep fried prawns delicious. My son isn’t too fond of over spicy food whilst my husband is the opposite. The chef managed both...palates excellently. House wine eminently quaffable if you don’t fancy beer. Recommend booking as it’s very busy even on the Sunday night we went.Favourite dish chicken pimento!

Folks, I'm an Asian food addict. Wherever I am in the world, I aim to try the best the city has to offer! This place did not disappoint! Probably the best bibimbap I've had in recent years. They have earned their fantastic rating with this...duo!

Arrived late in Rouen tired and weary but very happy we gound yhis restaurant! Great food great service lovely atmosphere try it you will enjoy!

Sunday night in Rouen can be challenging if you are looking for a place to eat. After being turned away we tried Les Brochettes en Folie`s, menu was wide and with all the usual meats available, most dishes were cooked on a scewer and were very surprised on how good the food was. We had a chicken curry served with a small side salad of greens plus our second dish was a very large mixed salad which had a light olive oil and balsamic dressing, good bread and local white wine.This place is far cheaper than the surrounding restaurants with fresh salads and meats cooked without fuss. Our waitress was very friendly, well worth a second try before we leave. Other restaurants we have tried in the few days are not a match to Foilies for overall value and food that tastes like it reads on the menu.Highly recommended if you would a like simple dish made up with fresh ingrediants without the hipe.

We arrived in Rouen on a Sunday which is probably the worst day if you are heading out for dinner. Most of our intended targets were closed and we felt that the general area around La Place de Vieux Marche was a bit seedy. Nevertheless we had some nice drinks nearby and eventually ended up at this restaurant. The food was really good, we had to go for a drink before our table was ready but everyone enjoyed the food. The staff were friendly and accommodating so this place gets the thumbs up.
