Shin Japanese Tapasbar Matcha Café

I can't say enough positive things about my experience in Shin. My husband loves Japanese food and we can never go together because by design Japanese food is not exactly gluten-free friendly. Imagine my surprise when I found out they could help me. I made my reservation and they called before the time to discuss the menu and go through my options. Once they took great care and effort to ensure that my meals were gluten-free. My main dish was made especially for me by the cook with gluten-free soy sauce. I really appreciated the effort and it was delicious! It was a wonderful visit and I will be safe on my next visit to Rotterdam. To add, I had no gluten reaction that is always a great sign!

Very nice Japanese restaurant, its blend of traditional and modern styles that gives a cozy and cool atmosphere. The staff helped me immediately when I asked if they had any gf options available. They went through the menu completely and offered to make some adjustments to dishes if possible. The owner of the restaurant was very sweet and immediately came with gf alternatives. The food was very delicious and they had many nice drinks and cocktails. A great menu of Japanese whisky.

I really appreciated the effort and it was delicious! It was a wonderful visit and I will be sure to visit again on my next Rotterdam visit.
