Turned around & returned.Lovely interesting waitress who spoke numerous languages plus took time to converse.We shared a basic minestrone soup that was very obviously in house made with lovely fresh vegetables. The shared pizza was thin crust & traditionally Italian style not loaded up with stuff, but enough to be really pleasant & tasty.A glass of wine 1/2 litre of dark beer plus food for €20, not bad.Dogs welcome. We were the only table without one & @ one stage it looked like real entertainment when a Mexican standoff between 2 of the larger breeds took place.
Dinner was not good service is below expected . we had dinner but food was not served on time . no spoin no fork put on table till we ask
This is a real good Italian restaurant. Start with the waiter. Nice guy, real friendly, English speaking. We have a young kid and he was very kind to whole table including our kid. Starters; good mozzarella, not tomato season but mozzarella was juicy and milky. A very good tasting four cheese pizza and two of us had the three different pasta dish. All very tasty. Also had a bottle of Amarone which was almost half of the check. Finally the Tiramisu was a lovely finish. Eur 200 for a 4 people dinner with almost half being the pricey wine. If you ask me that is good price.
This was one of the best places I've ever eaten at. We went there 4 times in one week. No joke. Tasty pizza, pasta, meat and wine! It was really irresistible. I would 100% recommend this lovely place. The staff were extremly friendly and pleasant, this place couldn't be better!
Loved it - the hostess was a passionate Italian girl who made the best of what English she could speak with the help of a few translators. We ordered a pizza - pepperoni and salami for my son - had olives and pepperoncinis on it too - he loved it. The wine collection was nice - lots of nice bottles - amaarone, chianti etc. we ordered a risotto with the porcini mushrooms that was out of this world - we practically licked the bottom of the plate. Then came the fish roasted in salt filleted at the table and served for two. Vow !!!! Very very nice recommendation by our concierge from the seehotel uberfahrt. Is on the lower floor of Hotel Carera - rottach-egern.
