Monte Lago Cafe Restaurant Bar

I ordered a pizza, my friend ordered a hamburger. Both were very good. Price was ok. Service was friendly and quick. The place is clean.

Was looking for a place with a patio as weather was gorgeous. they had a good range of options here--pizza, burgers, schnitzel, eggplant cordon bleu, etc. i went with dolmas (stuffed grape leaves) and they were the best i've had! homemade tsatziki sauce, a carrot hummus over sliced zucchini with a few olives. a refreshing change from all the heavy german food.

We had our first meal here and the food was lovely. There is a seating area for just drinks but we to be fair we ate out twice here. Fabulous staff.

I have been visiting the Tegernsee area for three or four times now. Great location. Charming villages around the lake, Rottach-Egern is my favorite , and in it you will find the lovely cafe-rest-bar Monte lago. This great place with its outstanding staff will top your visit to this wonderful lake. The atmosphere inside is super and out in the terrace is magical. But what makes this place go on a high rating in my opinion is the staff. Such an outstanding hard working , and they do it with a great smile. Many thanks to all of them for the wonderful times.
