My Greek Kitchen - Rother

These individuals need to shut down their restaurant and leave the community. I have never encountered such unfriendly and uneducated people in the hospitality industry. Their food tasted as bad as their attitudes. I regret ever visiting this place.

I visited this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. We were quickly seated and given menus. However, things went downhill from there. We tried to order the tuna salad, then the crab salad, then any salad but ended up settling for a fried egg. We requested no mushrooms and no cod chips, but received calamari chips instead. The fish was okay, but the chips were not. The calamari was surprisingly good, but the overall experience was disappointing. The food resembled something you might find on a reality show, but without the stars. It was a terrible and overpriced meal. We used to enjoy dining here, but this visit was a letdown. The restaurant seems to have declined, while the nearby takeaway has improved. I would recommend avoiding both establishments if you're not a fan of calamari that looks like random animal parts.

Upon arriving at this fish and chip cafe, we were promptly handed menus. Despite our hopes for quick service, we were disappointed to find that we had to flag down a waiter to take our order. To add to the frustration, the drinks brought to us were incorrect. Our fishing and chips meals took about 30 minutes to arrive, during which time we grew quite cold as the restaurant was not heated on this chilly New Year's Day. The waiter's attire was unkempt, with his apron brushing against his coat as he served us. Overall, our experience was lacking and we don't plan on returning to this establishment in the future.

That was the worst I ever had, and I'm not sweating. I saw chips yesterday and a burger who was in the hot plate all day. I paid the bill and then offered a constructive feedback. to scream. by the owner. will certainly vote with my feet and never come back. If I could choose less than one, I would.

Has this place changed owners? We have been here several times and looked forward to eating here on our visit to Rye. Waiter was fine although he and the manager were very scruffily dressed which does put me off if they cant be bothered to...wear a clean shirt. Food was ok, nothing special so I doubt we will go there again.
