Bidra med feedbackHad visited a few years ago and was lovely this time a high entrance fee for one small area of garden and overgrown grass elsewhere. Such a shame
We visited during Easter and joined in the fairy hunt, beautiful setting and a hidden gem. We had tea served with vintage cups and saucers and rocky road. Would've liked to have seen more of a selection of cakes we arrived mid afternoon and I can only assume that they had sold out. Perfect place to go and have a wander.
We travelled up from Eastbourne to pick up one of our grandchildren from Robertsbridge for a weekend sleep over. This was originally a raffle prize given to us by another grandchild. What an absolute gem of a find. The gardens are delightful and cake and coffee delicious really hit the spot. Came away with strawberry plants and pony’s tail swishing grass. This will definitely not be our last visit.
After walking round the King John 's Garden we called in to the cafe for a cup of coffee. The cafe is a 'little beauty '. It 's eclectic, warm, comfy with extremely friendly, helpful staff. The coffee was very good and the cakes looked delicious. This was our first visit but it certainly won 't be our last!!
Throughly enjoyed our visit to the garden. Loved the various pathways and fabulous flowers beds. The nursery has a good selection of plants and the shop is quirky. Great food and friendly staff
