Italia Restaurant - Eiscafe

My husband and I stopped in for a pizza lunch while on a river cruise. The restaurant is quaint and even during the day, romantic. Great service, great ambiance, hot, fresh pizza (not New York but very good) with cold beer. Our waiter was friendly...and polite and provided us with excellent service. He offered to take our photograph so we have a nice souvenir of our lunch. A great place to stop. Reasonably priced. Credit card minimum is $20.

As the other 2 italian restaurants with better rating were fully booked every time, we took a chance with this one. The seafood spaghetti were delicious, but the other dishes were just ok. The service was good and the prices normal. I didn’t like the...kitchy big painting on the wall.

Rothenburg is certainly pretty crowded during the summertime, so I do not expect to be greeted or even to get a welcome smile. BUT... if you are annoyed by your customers you shouldn’t work in gastronomic... The waiter was seriously unfriendly and even rude. You...don’t want to take that experience avoid. Ice cream was ok a bit too soft but not too bad.

Were in Rothenburg because of the Christmas market and drank a children's **** that tasted very well and the staff was suuper friendly. We are happy to come here if you can sit back in and order food!
