Sykeside Country House - Rossendale

My mates had their wedding reception here today(Oct 10th 2020) even under covid the staff were brilliant the conservatory was nice and cosy and the food was amazing. The buffet was varied and tasty and for the evening meal I had portobello mushroom with cheese and chilli chutney which was really nice but the chicken with dauphinois potatoes were out of this world. I was gutted when I finished my plate. I don’t normally eat chicken with the skin on but this was lovely and crispy with tender chicken underneath. 10 out of 10 to the chef that was on tonight. Highly recommend. Loved every mouth full.

I can highly recommend the afternoon tea’s here, both the normal and also the dairy free version. The staff go out off there way to make you welcome and also to sure you enjoy your afternoon tea.???? Definitely worth 5 .
