Lucy's Place - Rosiclare

Great food and service, really cute place too! I think the people complaining about it seeming run down are over exaggerating. What's true is that it's an old building with character that is kept about as clean as it can possibly be.I don't understand why people go through the trouble of writing reviews just to complain about stuff that is totally out of their control, like the availability of Sprite, or the fact that you prefer Mexican food. Annoys me to bits.I would like to commend them on how they are handling the pandemic. our waitress politely wore a mask while she was at our table, and we could tell the menus and table were sanitized and clean.To conclude, it's a diner, they serve diner food, and they do it well. It's the best and only diner in Rosiclare, IL.

Catfish sandwich and the bacon cheeseburger were on point, good prices, really nice and friendly service, and one of the few places we could find within a 20 mile radius to get some lunch. Much needed after a day of hiking.

Place looked very run down. The table we were sat at was dirty and the menus were also dirty and had food on them. The waitress told us they were out of almost half there drinks and that the venders wouldn't deliver to them because they wouldn't wear gloves and masks while working. Needless to say we didn't eat there we left before ordering. So they might have good food but the place is not clean so I'll never know.

Best Restaurant Around have you tired grilled fish dinner it is the best . Second favorite dinner is grilled shrimp when it is a special. Third Bacon Chicken Ranch Sandwich.The fries are the best because they dont put salt on them if you want salt they have it at the table.
