Sabores Mexican Cuisine - Roseville

If you are ever visiting the galleria, top golf, or the fountains... do not miss this gem! I have been coming here for years and I get so excited when I have to stop for shopping close by because it means I'm definitely stopping by Sabores. The decor is so cute (they have a small patio that is perfect for an intimate bday or other event), but that is just the beginning. Their customer service is incredible; so attentive and friendly. The bar has some of the best selections I've seen for a smaller restaurant. Custom cocktails, margaritas, and a great mix of draft beers. Now for the icing on the cake... the FOOD! From the salsa and guac, to the salads, to the soups, and entres... nothing disappoints (and I've literally tried it all). The flavors are amazing and the recipes are authentic. Not to mention the portions! Absolutely crazy how much food they give you. I cannot recommend this place enough.

This place is not it.. The food is old and mixed in with the new.. it's disgusting and they aren't maintaining the food properly in the back.. The soup was days old and reheated in the microwave.. I let that go it's a small place. The margarita was beautiful but lacked any alcohol at all and was mostly ice. My man's tamarindo was fermented and off, he didn't drink it. The salsa was ok, mild and canned but at least it wasn't spoiled. The chips were ok but when we got to half and they refilled us, they again blended old and new and there were rancid chips in the basket! He got a wet burrito and there wasn't a lot of meat, loads of cheese and sour cream and the meat was off tasting.. I got two tacos on the side because a 2 taco plate is $20! And the carne asada was bad! Old meat and new meat mixed in with each other. That's hard to hide in a taco! The smell and taste of off meat every other bite.. unbelievable.. We didn't finish our food and were disgusted by the audacity of this place, but because the manager/owner/playboy was busy talking to his friends and the young buck was busy eating the biggest nacho plate I've ever seen, on the patio, 3 lbs of meat on the plate, feet on the table right through the glass next to us, we waited 20 minutes for the check.. He didn't help bus tables, the only waitress bussed his plate and gave him his check, even before we got ours.. My man got up to check his truck because we'd been waiting for a while and the young guy tried to ruffle up like he was going to fight because he thought he was trying to leave without paying.. Other things.. I've been in the restaurant business for over 20 years.. this is the worst quality food I've ever seen! And your staff is a joke.. Your cook and owner/manager have no morals.. You're deceiving your customers and feeding them rotten food! This place doesn't deserve the customers it has.. and needs to be shut down!

The first time I had this places food was at a taco night at a local brew house. It was fantastic then, it's even better in the restaurant. I had the Pork Chili Verde, and the flavor was amazing. The cups and salsa were fresh. I asked for some spicier salsa and that was really good as well. My wife had the carne asada taco and tamale combo. The steak was fantastic, full of flavor, and done to perfection. The tamale was also good, but it was made differently than they made them for the taco night at the brew house. It was still really good, but one of the spices (probably clove? put us in kind of pumpkin pie. It wasn't off putting, just different. The server was awesome, super nice, and very attentive. TLDR; The service was excellent, and so was the food. I highly recommend this place!

This place is trash. I won't waste my time writing a full review because this picture pretty much sums it up. $23 for chicken enchiladas in mole, however, there is more cheese in this dish than you'll find in Holland. Cocktails are far too sweet, bar is way too small, and the food is cooked in the microwave. Seriously, at least put the microwave further away from the bar so it won't be so obvious. Whatever tho, C'est la vie.

Love love love this place!! : Very family friendly, fun atmosphere and service is awesome! Food is delicious and this is the only place that serves Paloma's like they do in Mexico! So delicious! Birria tacos are my favorite! Thank you so much to the staff for always going above and beyond to give the best service! Highly recommend!
