Rubio's Coastal Grill - Roseville

Edited: Was a one star and changing my opinion to a three star experience. Seems like things are starting to get back on track. Unfortunately Rubio's had some hard times getting going again and the location I liked best is now closed. The food was muchbetter this time around but did take longer than I was comfortable with. I expect to come to a place like this and go fromwalking in the door to walking out the door in about a half hour or so. It was close to an hour because the food took a while tocome. It is getting more and more acceptable for restaurants like this to let people down in one way or another and people arestarting to be cool with it. Stop being cool with it and let them know they need to meet the needs of their customers more thanthe requirements of the idiot secret shoppers. Makes you feel like a freakin mark on a board rather than a human being. So threestars is the best I will give. And that is the typical Rubio's experience.

Was told it would take a minimum 15 minutes for our order. We were the only guests in the restaurant. When food came out it was freezing cold, if I?m waiting for my food how does it come to me cold? Was the 15 minute wait so they could cook it and let itcool? And there was nothing in the salsa bar, completely empty

The best chopped salad! I love love love everything about it! They actually put a nice amount of cheese and give you enough dressing for your whole salad! The guacamole is amazing!! The chips did seem a little overcooked but nothing the guac didn?tmake up for! I want to try everything on the menu

Food is decent and fish tacos are our favorite. Be sure to come here on Tuesdays as they are running a few specials. $2 fish tacos and $8 Shrimp Taco Plate with three different shrimp tacos. Ordered ahead and food was a little late. Also was missing ataco and one taco was incorrect last visit. Be sure to check your order and not rely on curbside as much.

Mom has a lactose intolerance and specifically ordered no cheese, guess what? Cheese all over her dish. Dad ordered guacamole with his dish, guess what? He got sour cream. I ordered my bowl specifically with no corn due to a corn allergy and found cornall mixed in my bowl. Would NOT recommend, TERRIBLE quality control.
